"MMM MMM MMM! this place has really good icecream! my favorite is black cherry. There is another place in town, think its called holy cow or smtn. This place is better than holy cow by a long shot. Go here but be warned the lines can be pretty long, go at a less busy time. also they have live music if u like that kinda think and tables to sit at. 10/10 ice cream!"

"Dropped in for a treat although we can’t eat dairy.. No problem - a great selection of non-dairy ‘ice cream’. Chose one scoop of peanut butter brownie and one scoop of salted caramel coffee and WOW was it ever good! Our servers were quick and cheerful (as always). My wife and I enjoyed our treats in the rustic but clean outdoor tables. Always an enjoyable time here. We like to bring out-of-town visitors here for a sample of Soo hospitality."

"Best ice cream in Sault Ste Marie! The decor and interior decorations are really great too! Very Canadian and outdoors. Come grab a cone or bowl before or after returning from camp. This is an excellent spot to bring the family for a treat. You won’t go broke here either as you still get value for your dollar. The scoops are a nice size, not cheap. The service is very fast and they have to be because the line is long and constantly moving. The restaurant has a nice area to eat outside or you can enjoy your treat indoors. My Mom brought me here after a hike we went on. She lives in the Soo and raves about this place! Yummy! I can’t resist homemade ice cream. They make very original flavours here. Unicorn poop was one that stuck out in my memory lol but there were a lot of unique flavours. They also sell jugs to take home. Great job and great service ladies!! I got Banana cream pie and I highly recommend it! Dang!"

"I dropped by Big Moose for ice cream with some friends on our way north. It was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly, and there was a great variety of ice cream to choose from. I decided to go with the Tiger Tail ice cream since that’s basically unknown where I’m from, and it was great. The combo of orange and licorice flavors sound odd at first, but it really works. This was very good quality ice cream too. I would recommend Big Moose to anyone in the area looking to satisfy their sweet tooth."
